The Other Side Of The Pillow

I heard one of the best lines the other day. I mean, I remember hearing the saying back in the day, but it really resonated with me just recently. I heard a young lady ask a young man, "how are you?" He responded, "I am cool baby girl; I mean cool like The Other Side of the Pillow." It took me a moment to grasp what he was saying, then all of sudden it hit me. In my head I pictured a pillow on a bed. Only one side of a pillow gets used at night, thus the other side it not used and warm from your body heat. So, it remains cool. I said to myself, "now that dude is cool."
I like that outlook. I mean it is 2011 now and we have to find what we are seeking for ourselves in this new year and for the rest of my life. I mean all of us can't be rich, famous, sexy, but we definitely be cool like The Other Side Of The Pillow. I think that is so rock star. I mean you can be short, fat, ugly, dumb, or whatever people think you are, but the one thing you know for yourself is you can be just like The Other Side Of The Pillow. I am not telling you not to be yourself, but sometimes we just don't know how to relax. We take everything so serious and so personal. Lighten up! Keep the Faith & Keep it Cool, just like The Other Side Of The Pillow.
Gotta Love It. The simple things in life sometimes are the most fascinating.

Yesterday

People it is 2010. Let go of 2010 or any year prior. Stop complaining about Yesterday(s)---right now! You don't have to hold onto your past anymore. Once you have recognized you had a problem/issue, you got your heart broken, you were mistreated by your family, or whatever your situation is, learn to take it to GOD and leave it there. So many of us get so caught up in Yesterday that we don't take advantage of what Today has to offer us.
Let me share with you my thought on Yesterday: "There isn't a thing in the world you can do about Yesterday, but remind yourself of things you need to forget. However, Today is here, its present, and everything you do Today will determine your outlook, experiences, blessings, love, and destiny Tomorrow." Yesterday is gone, its behind you, don't live life in reverse, keep it moving. There is so much ahead of you that is so much better than what will be behind you once your let go of Yesterday. It isn't easy, but the quicker you begin leaving Yesterday you will be able to embrace ALL that Today has in store for you.
