The Future

For some strange reason, lately I have been thinking about The Future. I am one who never dwells on The Past, but works really hard to maximize every moment in The Present. But as focused as I am on The Present, I have found myself peeking into The Future. Or should I say, wondering/anticipating what The Future holds. Life is a funny thing. One day you are brought into this world by no will of your own and one day in The Future you may leave this world at now will of your own either. 

I am a firm believer that everything in life happens for a reason. All your successes, trials, failures, accomplishments and tribulations are all preparing you for your role in society. For decades I have really struggled with the question, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" Although, some would argue that I am grown now, I still don't know the answer. But I am not concerned in the least. And if you don't know, you shouldn't be concerned either. Only the MAN UPSTAIRS knows what The Future holds, and I trust HIM way more than I trust myself or anyone else. The Future is tomorrow, The Present is today and The Past  is behind us. While it is perfectly fine to plan or think about The Future, don't forget to appreciate the time, people and experiences you are having right now. The Future will be here before you know it.
