I remember being a kid and asking my G-Ma when her famous
Red Velvet cake would be ready. I was more excited than Dracula
at a bloodbank whenever she decided to cook one of those cakes. I
would ask about every 5 minutes or so, "is it ready yet?" On one
specific occasion she didn't respond with her normally soft spoken response
"soon."  This particular instance she responded in the slickest voice
I've heard her use. The words she uttered, "You Can't Rush Greatness,"
have stuck w- me from that day forward.

In this life, people are always in a "Rush." They "Rush" to do everything.
Why can't you just get up earlier or leave sooner instead of having to "Rush?"
Is it so difficult to plan ahead or take your time so you can enjoy the experience? Some things
are actually better when they are allowed a moment or three to simmer,
change or move at it's own pace. If you want mediocre, "Rush!" If you want
okay, "Rush!" If you want good, "Rush!" But if you aspire to be Great or you
want Greatness, "Don't Rush." No matter how slice it, "You Can't Rush
Greatness." Learn to be patient, slow down and take your time with people and things. Remember the
GOOD BOOK says, "Be Anxious For Nothing."
