Shock Value: Entry 92 "Be Kind"

I hope this week hasn't beaten you down too bad. I'm going to pray for you all to have a blast this weekend, so all you got to do is make it through tomorrow. It's Friday, perhaps payday, or at least it begins the weekend for some of us. So lets end the week on a good note.

Today's Topic: Be Kind

I want to take a moment to tell you all that it is very important that you be kind to other people. The GOOD BOOK says, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." That doesn't mean only if people are kind to me I will be kind to them. It means that no matter what other people say or do, you are going to do good by them.

I believe in this world where there are so many things to be upset about, depressed about, or downright mad about, you have to find something to keep yourself motivated. Kindness doesn't cost a thing and it can make your day if you let it.

The next time someone says something bad to you, or comes through your line at work with an obvious attitude, "KILL EM' WITH SOME KINDNESS!" You will be surprised how many people don't readily recognize that they are being rude or are frowning for no reason. Get up from this computer as soon as you are done reading this and do some random act of kindness. See how it makes you feel. Call someone and say something nice, go out and do something nice, or just try to be a little kinder to the loved one's around you. Being kind is not that difficult and if you begin with kindness, on the most part, your life will be filled with it in return.
