Shock Value: Entry 95 "There Is No Neutral In Life"

Today's Topic: There Is No Neutral In Life

Yesterday, we discussed how we never know what type of life circumstances we are going to get and while that remains true I feel the need to speak to you a little more in detail about life. Life is comprised of a number of things: up, downs, love, happiness, anger, joy, pain, pleasure, family, and the like. No matter how you were reared as a child, your life was set in motion as soon as you were conceived. Every since that day, you have been put on a path to your destiny.

The funny thing about life is, it is a constant journey to somewhere. You don't have a map, a gps, or a tour guide, just some various things you were taught as a child or during the course of your adult life that helps you deal with certain circumstances. Faith, family and friends are all a portion of your life, but they don't complete your life. If you haven't noticed, this life moves forward whether you like it or not. Life is always in drive and there is no neutral.

There are no breaks, pauses, or time-outs. You have to continue to breath, think, live, and function as long as you are still here. No matter what you are going through, you can't stop life from moving forward. Now, you have a chance to put it in park if you like, but I wouldn't recommend that, suicide is NEVER A GOOD OPTION. You have to take the reins of this thing called life and what it has to offer. Since you don't have control over the motion, you have to learn to control the pace at which you live. Think more, decide to be the change in this life you want to see, consciously to do things that matter, accept things you cannot change, change the things you can, and most importantly, love, laugh, and while you live. There are no red lights, brakes, or even moments of yielding, so make the best of this life. You only got one shot and there aren't any do overs either.---Lose Yourself!
