Far Away From Here

0

Sometimes it is absolutely necessary to take time to yourself. In the hustle and bustle of life, you need to factor into your daily schedule some me time. Time where you aren't obligated to do anything for the kids, your spouse, your family or anyone else. This is time for you to sit back, relax, and imagine yourself being Far Away From Here.

Having the ability to be in one place but let your imagination take you Far Away From Here takes practice. There are so many things that can negatively impact your day that you can't control such as, lying, trifling, and all around messy people, a boss or a significant other who doesn't seem to appreciate anything you do, and/or people who can't drive undistracted, texting and talking on the phone at the same time. None of the afore you can really do anything about, but in these moments when you feel your temperature rising and your frustration building, take a moment to close your eyes and travel mentally, Far Away From Here.

There is beauty in having the ability to control your own emotions. When people realize that nothing they try to do or think about doing can steal your joy, they tend to leave you alone and find someone else to bother. I have mastered the practice of being in the midst of chaos and dysfunction, but only my body is there, because my mind is most certainly Far Away From Here. You have to have a vivid imagination. You really should try it. You and I have too much to live for to allow stress to kill us. I journey physically and mentally often to a place where everybody knows my name and I am always VIP. Somewhere where there is so much peace, happiness, and joy, somewhere Far Far Far Away From Here.
