I don't know why people focus so much on the things in their future. It's almost like Today isn't happening. You converse with folks and their always like, "I'm going to have this type of car, job and/or spouse one day." It's like they don't dream in the present, only in the future. But I have a message for you Tomorrow people: Tomorrow Is Today. In other words, what you do at this very moment has the most impact on the things you may be able to do Tomorrow.
If you don't maximize the time you are giving Today, you may not have a Tomorrow. Most people say, "Tomorrow isn't promised." But, I don't think they understand that those words are a signal/alert to get you to do what is needed Today. Tomorrow is really like a fantasy or mirage. While you may be able to fathom what you plan on doing, you should put all your best into Today. Once you learn to live Today and everyday like it is your very last, then you will ultimately have immaculate Tomorrows. That is what life is all about.
