Shock Value: Entry 84 "Make-Up"

Y'all already know what time it is. The kid has been very liberal with his topics lately, but I feel it's time I get back to the "realness." Today's topic: Make-Up

I just don't get this whole infatuation with make-up. I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! I don't understand how women go the first 14 or 15 years of their lives without war-paint, but as soon as they become a teen or pre-teen, they decided to play the role of Mrs. Ronald McDonald and put on the clown face. Now, I know some people absolutely need it. Some woman have blemishes in their skin and need to use some sort of foundation to even out their skin tone. Granted that makes sense, but some people just like to make their face look like its ready for a funeral.

Did I say I ABSOLUTELY HATE make-up already? If not, I ABSOLUTELY HATE MAKE- UP! One, it ruins my shirts giving people hugs, not that I want to, but in some instances its necessary. Secondly, your face and your neck don't match. That's just weird. You like brown in one place and gold in the other. Third, eye shadow that matches your shirt, really...In the words of Men On Film from Living Color, "HATED IT!" All the aforementioned is whack and I don't understand it.

People pay to look like you, yet you ruin your face trying to look like them. Its crazy and bass ackwards. There is nothing wrong with a lil' lip gloss and eye liner every now an then. I guess I am a person who enjoys the natural. I don't like contacts, make-up, head wraps, nothing. I think there is nothing on this earth more beautiful then a natural woman. Putting on make-up to me is like putting a condom over your head---pointless. I encourage you all to take a look in the mirror, if you can and tell me what you see. If your beauty lies in the foundation of cosmetics (that was smoothe) then you haven't discovered your true beauty. Love you for who you are no matter what you look like. We all are made different and flawed. Embrace your imperfections or go play in traffic.
