Shock Value: Entry 182 "The 2010 BET Coonary Awards"

SOAP BOX ALERT! This is a warning for all of you who enjoyed the 2010 BET Coonary, supposedly Hip Hop awards. You might want to hit that "X" at the top right of your screen right now because I am about to go in.

What a disgrace and waste of 2 hours of my life. I had the displeasure of watching the 2010 BET Hip Hop awards last night. This show shall affectionately be known the Coonary Awards from henceforth. How dare you producers try to sale us frozen crap as chocolate ice cream? JERK, I AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT, I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! That show was no more Hip Hop than the fools/rappers who call themselves Hip Hop artists. Let's stop fooling ourselves.

Let me give you a quick lesson.

1) Pants/skinny jeans/windbreakers/shorts or any other item of the sort was made to be worn on your waste and cover COMPLETELY your posterior area. Sagging is so 2002! Grown men who sag are out of touch with reality anyway. It's not a fashion statement, it's just plain stupid and frankly you look like a darn fool. ( I so wanted to curse, but I am trying to quit---Again!)

2) How many gold/platinum/fake chains do you dummies need? Who are you all Mr. T's little cousins? That is the dumbest trend in America. You guys are a joke, plus your medallions are the size of the actual objects they portray. You jackazzes put an actual full size microphone or face replica of yourself around your neck. I wish I could make one chain of a rope, let you put it around you neck, stand you up in a chair, and kick it from up under you so you can hang yourself. You are a waste of space and energy anyway.

3) Lyrics vs. Beats: Only in RAP not Hip Hop are the beats way more important than what the performer is actually saying. You idiots don't say anything in your rhymes. I mean your lunchbox rhymes are equivalent to Barney's I love you, you love me song. Let me stop before I inspire you to do something like that, cause you anuses are amused by ignorance. Frankly I am not. You can jump around all you want and spew your ignorance, but you are the reason innocent people are getting killed! Some people, adults & kids alike, think this fantasy that you are spewing out of your mouth as your reality is real thus, they try to be like you and end up losing their life over dumb 'ish. That body is on you Mr. Rapper. You have destroyed a life and a family in one song. Great Job!

I am pissed! You Coons, Ninjas, & BET are so irresponsible. I think I hate all of you equally. Thanks again for setting us hard working, educated, don't disrespect women brothers back another 40 years. You ninjas make me ashamed to be a "man of color." Sadly, I am a huge Hip Hop head. It is my 2nd love. I try to support it in all its endeavors, but you Coons are destroying the little faith I have left in its ability to return back to its lyrical prowess roots. Now its all about dope, money, and hoes. Yep, there is nothing in this life more important huh guys? Not like you would know or care, you stay gone off that purp, syruped up, or just plain out of it most of the time.

I wish I had a way to get you all to understand how you are destroying the future generations behind you. I wish I could get you to care. Some little kid who was doing math 4 levels higher than the grade he is actually in, put away his Algebra homework last night, and decided that being a "Goon" is much more important than changing the world by being the next Bill Gates. Thank you rappers. Thank you BET. You continuously amaze me with your efforts to deconstruct what some of us are trying to rebuild, the image of the black man. I am beyond disappointed and sadly enough I know you don't care, but I won't give up on you BET/Rappers. Maybe one day you will get it, OR NOT. I AM LEANING TOWARDS THE OR NOT AT THIS MOMENT. IT'S JUST A DARN SHAME! I HOPE YOU TWO FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU ARE LIKE THE DEVIL, HERE TO KILL, STEAL, AND DESTROY. THAT'S BET/RAPPERS FOR YA.
