Nobody Does It Better

I have learned in my little over three decades on this earth that trends, fashion, dances, moves, etc. all come around again at some point. Many of the things that we are doing today, were done years ago, but all of a sudden we tend to think we Do It Better. I tend to think that while we may be doing the most, that doesn't necessarily mean we are Doing It Better.

It is my personal opinion that Nobody Does It Better than the originator or creator of the style, moves, colloquialisms, etc. The rest of us are just copy cats, or persons who have decided that we can re-invent ourselves or activities by using what we have seen prior and flipping it just a tad. While that is cool and I encourage individuality, we must remember to pay homage to those who truly paved the way for us to Do It Better.

• When it comes to cooking, understanding and loving me, Nobody Does It Better than my Grandma.

• When it comes to re-inventing himself, Nobody Does It Better than Puffy or P. Diddy.

• When it comes to setting Black people back another 4oo years, Nobody Does It Better than B.E.T.

• When it comes to contributing to the hypertension and high blood pressure rates in minorities, Nobody Does It Better than fried foods, more specifically, Fried Chicken.

• When it comes to keeping the people in the WoodWorkz neighborhood on point, Nobody Does It Better, than AJ and Da' Intellektual.

• When it comes to being the change you want to see in the world, Nobody Does It Better than our President, Barack Obama, his family, and each and every one of you.
