Shock Value: Entry 171 "Love Day"

Its Saturday and yes

I am up with the chickens;

don't judge me!

Today's Topic: Love Day

So yesterday when I woke up around 4 am or so, I decided to do something unorthodox. Anyone who knows me, can tell you I really don't sleep much, thus my mind is working more often then others. For some reason, as soon as I got up, I began to consider my agenda for the day. I wanted to do something that is very uncommon among the people I know---Spread The Love.

When I sat up in my bed I begin to ponder about how I could, Spread The Love. Then it came to me. I decided to make yesterday my own holiday. I said to myself in my Dr. Evil voice, "I shall call it, Love Day." In my mind, I would impact someone's life today by telling them they are Loved. Thus it was of extreme importance to me that I got the words out of my mouth/mind and into someone else's ears, eyesight, & life. There was no better way to get the word out then to do what I do best, Text. My apologies, I know its probably not the best form of communication, but hey, it works for me. So, as a result, I drafted a message and sent it to all those people who I feel could use, "The Love."

I didn't reach as many people as I wanted to, but this was my first attempt at making Love Day my own personal holiday. From henceforth, every October 1st, well at least for me, will be---Love Day. I shall incorporate calling and other forms of communique' next year to reach a wider audience. Now the key to Love Day for me, is only telling people you actually Love, Have Love For, Are In Love With, or Those You Care Deeply About. Love Day doesn't work if you taint it by just saying you Love someone, when you really don't. For more details on Love Day, please stay tuned. Next year on September 30th, I will properly prepare you all to join me as I establish my own holiday---Love Day.
