It's so close to Friday,

I can smell it in the air.

Today's Topic: Does Anyone Date Anymore?

Let me begin by saying I am only raising the question, because to date I have yet to go on an actual date. I ain't really tripping because I am sure there are many people who thought we may have been on a date---MESSAGE: WE WEREN'T! But, excluding myself and my personal life, I wanted to raise the question today: Does Anyone Date Anymore?

Maybe its me, but as I travel or visit various establishments, its seems like there is an obvious decrease in the amount of couples present. Now, maybe due to the economy people are cutting back on the places they go on dates at, and now people are free dating (going places that don't cost a thing) like the park, the levees for my LA people, and the beach for me GA people. Either way, I have began to notice people don't seem to really date anymore. I have heard that dating is such a great experience, but the cyber world and social networking sites have taken the fun out of normal things. Like I said previously, people don't have to actually meet up anymore to get acquainted, they do it via Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter. Now, that ain't my thing per-say, but I ain't knocking you if it is yours, just wanted to know where all the Daters went.

If anyone knows, let me in on the Date Night secrets, because I am a bit concerned. I don't want my future children or yours to miss out on the experience that has spawned so many great movies, lol. I think all of us could use new people in our life, especially some of you who are holding on to that special someone who doesn't think you are all that special at all and they treat you as such.
